KCR Broke Promise Of Rs 400 Crore For Vemulawada Temple: BJP
Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay said that the CM had cheated Lord Siva Himself by not fulfilling his promise of sanctioning Rs 400 crore for the temple's development.
Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay performed special prayers at the Sri Raja Rajeswara Swamy temple in Vemulawada during his visit to the district on the occasion of Maha Sivaratri today.
Speaking to the media later, he alleged that CM K Chandrashekar Rao had failed to fulfill his promise of sanctioning Rs 400 crore for the development of the temple.
He said that the CM had cheated Lord Siva Himself by not fulfilling his promise, and that the Lord would teach a befitting lesson to KCR for that.
He also claimed that many problems were being faced by the devotees at the temple due to lack of basic amenities like drinking water for them.
He alleged that even if the State government did not have the money for the development of the temple, it could have just sent a proposal to the Centre under the Prasadam scheme of the union government, but that it had not done that despite repeated pleas from him with folded hands, and his promise to bring funds if it did.
He said that he had prayed the presiding deity of the temple to end the rule of KCR in Telangana.
