KCR's Strained Relations Condemned By Congress
Telangana Congress legislators today said the CM's strained relationships with the Centre and the neighbours were going against the interests of Telangana.
The Telangana Congress Legislature Party on Friday strongly condemned Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for not maintaining a good relationship either with the Centre or with the neighbours.
Addressing a joint press conference at the CLP office, Congress legislators Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Vamshi Chandrareddy, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, M S Prabhakar, Farooq Hussain and Ranga Reddy said that the Chief Minister's strained relationships were going against the interests of Telangana.
They asked KCR to explain the status of his promise of getting power from Chhattisgarh.
They said that the government could not leave the farmers to their fate for its failure to supply adequate power to the agriculture sector.
The Congress legislators described the TRS regime as "Tughlaq Rule".
Stating that no section of the society, especially the farming section, was happy with the performance of the TRS government, they said that the people were about to lose their patience.
They added that the Chief Minister should treat all the citizens like his family members by fulfilling their needs.
They also demanded a payment of Rs 10 lakhs as ex-gratia to the families of each of the farmers who committed suicide. (INN)
