Terming the ED notice issued to her in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case as PM Modi's notice, MLC K Kavitha said that the notice had been served to her as part of a political conspiracy and that there was no need to react too much to it.
Speaking to the media today, Kavitha lambasted the union government for dragging the liquor case like a television serial for over a year.
She said that even the 2G case had not dragged on for so long, and that the notice was sent by the ED only with political motives. She alleged that since the Assembly elections were approaching in Telangana, the union government was trying to release a new episode in the case.
She also said that the notice clearly showed that the BRS was not the B-team of any national party.
Kavitha also alleged that both the Congress and the BJP were unable to digest the growing popularity of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in Telangana, and claimed that KCR would again become the Chief Minister, for a third consecutive term.
As for the notice, she said that she would move forward as per the advice of the BRS legal team.
