K Jana Reddy To Meet Governor

Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy will reportedly be meeting Governor E S L Narasimhan at 3pm today. In the event of yesterday's announcement that the decision on Telangana could be delayed, it is being speculated that Jana Reddy could be meeting the Governor in order to tender his resignation.

TRS president KCR's criticism, that Jana Reddy is more enamored of his position than in supporting the cause, could be the impetus to this meeting. Jana Reddy, who has already proclaimed that he doesn't care about his post and is willing to give it up in order to forward the cause of a seperate Telangana, is said to be doubly eager to prove his committment.
