Another Suicide For Telangana?

According to a suicide note, purportedly written by him, the JNTU student said he was taking his life after being unable to bear the delay in formation of Telangana.

Apparently dismayed over the statement of Union Home Minister P Chidmabaram on Telangana in the Lok Sabha, an M Tech student hanged himself to death at his residence in Mandamarri town.

According to police, the incident took place late on Saturday, but came to light on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as R Srikanth, who was pursuing his M. Tech. (Mechatronics) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H).

According to the suicide note, purportedly written by him, Srikanth said he was taking his life after being unable to bear the delay in formation of a separate Telangana state.

The note also urged the government to provide free education to all students in the Telangana region. (INN)
