Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday donned the greasepaint, and faced the camera during the shooting of a sequence from the forthcoming film, 'Jai Bolo Telangana.'
The film director N Shankar shot the scenes of KCR garlanding the statue of Telangana Talli at the entrance of Telangana Bhavan.
Following the directions of Shankar, the women from Telangana put a 'bindi' on the forehead of KCR, and raised 'Jai Telangana' slogans.
While garlanding the Telangana Talli statue, KCR also raised 'Jai Telangana' slogans.
The shooting lasted half-an-hour.
Jagapathi Babu and Smriti Irani are playing the lead roles in this film, and K Chandrasekhar Rao has penned a song.
Telangana journalists, writers, agitators, student leaders and professors would also be seen in this film. KCR's daughter Kavita would also be seen in one shot.
The movie is being made under the banner of Mahalakshmi Arts.
"The film is in accordance with the will of the people of Telangana. It is thought-provoking and will make people from all the 3 regions think about the questions it raises. There has been a good response to the audio of the film and KCR's song. We will release the film soon" N Shankar said.
