Jagga Reddy Slams Harish Rao Again On Manjeera Water

The Sangareddy MLA and Congress leader alleged that Rao took the Manjeera waters to Sriramsagar in 2017 illegally without the knowledge of the CM.

Sangareddy MLA and Congress leader Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy once again targeted former minister and senior TRS leader T Harish Rao.

He alleged that Rao took the Manjeera waters to Sriramsagar in 2017 illegally without the knowledge of the Chief Minister.

Speaking to mediapersons on Wednesday, Reddy said that the Manjeera river had now dried up, and wanted to know from the State government what made Rao to take the waters from Manjeera.

He alleged that Rao pressurized the officials as irrigation minister to loot the Manjeera waters, and demanded that the Chief Minister immediately intervene and ensure Manjeera water to the people of Medak district under Mission Bhagiratha.

He also demanded that the State government release Rs 10 crore to his constituency immediately to meet its water requirements.
