Congress leader Jayaprakash Reddy threatened a siege of the Assembly if the government did not respond to the Agriculture University students' plea for jobs.
Congress leader and former minister Jayaprakash Reddy said that the Telangana government had totally failed to create employment opportunities for the graduates of Agriculture University.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Reddy said that the Agriculture University graduates had received no response from any of the ministers that they had approached and pleaded with for help with a notification for jobs in the university.
Surprisingly, ministers Harish Rao and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy had washed off their hands saying only that they would bring their issue to the notice of the Chief Minister, Reddy said.
Alleging that even the ruling party members were not getting an appointment with the Chief Minister, the former minister said that the government was playing with the lives of 700 students of the university by not taking time out for them.
He threatened to lay siege to the Assembly along with the students on Monday.
