Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will start functioning from his chambers in the State secretariat from June 8 at 8:39 am.
He will also review the functioning of the various government departments starting from Saturday, June 1.
The first departments to be reviewed by the Chief Minister on Saturday will be Finance and Revenue. Jagan will then take up Education and Water Resources for review on June 3. On June 4, the CM's review will cover Agriculture and Housing, and CRDA will come up for review on June 6.
Jagan had declared that his government would work at a fast pace to ensure that the fruits of development and the welfare schemes percolate to the common man, and the new CM appears to be hitting the ground running.
