The CBI Special Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing on a petition filed by YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, seeking relaxation in his bail conditions, to October 18.
In a petition, filed on October 11, Jagan sought relaxations in the conditions for his bail that prevent him from leaving Hyderabad without the court's permission.
Stating that he leads a political party, and represents the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat in Parliament, he requested the court to permit him to tour Andhra Pradesh besides visiting New Delhi.
Referring to the ongoing Samaikyandhra agitation, he said that being an elected representative he needs to be a part of that agitation.
The court adjourned the next hearing to October 18 following the Central Bureau of Investigation's request that it needs more time to file its counter. (INN)
