The practical exams for the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2014 have commenced from Wednesday.
On the first day of the examination, 1039 centers were constituted to conduct practical exams for 91,906 students all over the state.
Besides the regular "Flying Squads", observers were deputed from the head office to Srikakulam, East Godavari, Guntur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Mahaboobnagar and Hyderabad to supervise the conduct of examination at the district level.
The commissioner of Intermediate Education and the secretary, BIE have also visited few practical examination centers in Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts.
The BIE asked the examiners and the departmental officers to scrupulously follow the guidelines issued by the Board from time to time. Any deviation from the rules will be viewed seriously. Cell phones and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the examination hall. The departmental officers have been instructed to collect them from all the people within the examination hall, including the examiners who are involved in conducting the examination.
So far, the examinations have been conducted smoothly and peacefully without any untoward incident, the Board said in a press release. (INN)
