Inter Exam Results In 25 Days: BIE
Officials from the Board of Intermediate Education made a statement on Tuesday saying that the board is preparing to release the results within the next 25 days.
With the Intermediate examinations concluding peacefully, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) is now preparing to release the examination results within the next 25 days.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, BIE Secretary G Balaramaiah and Controller of Examinations C M Ghouse said that out of the 18,99,689 registered students, including both first year and second year (general and vocational streams), 1,02,910 students did not sit for the examinations.
The BIE officials pointed out that the overall absentee percentage was 5.41, and also revealed that 715 students were booked for indulging in malpractices during the examinations. Clarifying on this point, they said that 793 malpractice cases were reported, while only 715 students were booked.
The BIE officials also revealed that the evaluation of the answer sheets will be taken up in 4 phases. They said that the first phase of evaluation had begun on March 14th. The second phase will start from Wednesday, and the remaining 2 phases will be taken up on March 29th and April 5th.
The officials also said that they are making concerted efforts to announce the results as early as possible.
