Hyderabad Metro Revises Timings Under Lockdown
The timings of the Hyderabad Metro Rail service have been rescheduled in accordance with the extension in Telangana's lockdown.

Yesterday, the Telangana Cabinet decided that the state's ongoing lockdown needed to be extended by 10 days, till June 20. The night curfew will continue, and strict lockdown regulations will be implemented across the state.
In view of this extension, the timings of the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) service have also been rescheduled.
The HMR will start its first train from its respective station at 7:00 am, while the last train will leave the station at 5:00 pm and reach its destination by 6:00 pm.
For the safety of those around, passengers have been advised to strictly follow all the Covid-19 safety guidelines, including social distancing, wearing of face masks, regular hand sanitising, and thermal screening.
"Passengers are requested to cooperate with the security personnel and staff of the Hyderabad Metro Rail in their efforts towards keeping journeys safe", the HMR officials said in a press release.
Meanwhile, under the extended lockdown, people will be able to move about between 6:00 am to 5:00 pm. They will also have an additional hour for their commutes back home. However, shops and all other commercial establishments will still need to down their shutters by 5:00 pm sharp.
Further, the relaxations will not apply to the Satthupalli, Madhira, Nalgonda, Nagarjuna Sagar, Munugode, Devarakonda, Miryalguda Assembly segments as the areas have seen a spike in the number of reported cases.
