Hyderabad On High Alert

Some reports say that an alert about possible blasts in Hyderabad was sounded by intelligence agencies.

Following Thursday's explosions at the bustling Dilsukhnagar area in Hyderabad, the twin cities have been put on high alert. While the state's Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy is headed to the explosion are, union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde is reviewing the situation. The Shamshabad airport is under heavy security now.

Some reports say that an alert about possible blasts in Hyderabad was sounded by intelligence agencies.

Amid uncertainty over whether Thursday's blasts were cylinder explosions, television news channels are beaming gory visuals of the injured at the spot, and plenty of damage to property.
