Artists Enthrall People At Musical Concerts
As part of the Swathanthra Bharatha Vajrotsavalu celebrations, music concerts were organized this morning at 75 different parks across the twin cities.
As part of the Swathanthra Bharatha Vajrotsavalu celebrations, the Hyderabad Municipal Development Authority (HMDA), the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Tatvaa Arts jointly organised "Shubhodayam" music concerts at 75 different parks across the twin cities today.
The concerts were organised from 7 am to 8 am. Over 150 musicians from Hyderabad performed live Hindustani and Carnatic classical instrumental music concerts at the 75 different locations.
Renowned classical musicians with traditional instruments like the sarangi, sitar, shehnai, flute and veena took part in the celebrations with their students of all age groups.
The motive behind organizing the morning concerts in the parks was to take traditional classical music to the common man and get all the classical musicians on one platform.
Minister for Forests and Environment Indrakaran Reddy, senior government officials and many other dignitaries participated in the events at various locations.
The audiences were enthralled by the performances, and requested the officials to keep organising such programs at least once a month as musical therapy in the parks.
The artists too said that they had felt quite happy to perform morning ragas in such pleasant natural environments to celebrate 75 years of Independence and to pay their respects to their motherland.
