Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that houses would be provided to all the families whose homes were destroyed in Kamareddy due to the heavy rains and flooding.
Reddy today personally inspected the flood-affected areas in Kamareddy district. He was accompanied by ministers Seethakka and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, MLA Madan Mohan Rao and Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir, among others.
The CM visited Budigida village to assess crop losses, and also examined the bridge near Lingampet that had been washed away by floodwaters. He directed officials to prepare detailed plans for rebuilding the bridge.
He also reviewed the damaged roads and infrastructure at G R Colony and Housing Board Colony in Kamareddy municipality. He told the flood victims that they would not be left helpless and that government assistance would reach them.
"Every issue faced in the flood-affected areas will be fully addressed. If children in private schools have been affected, the government will support them. CSR funds allocated to the government will also be directed to those in need. Kamareddy is like my own constituency," Reddy said.
Addressing farmers, he promised immediate financial relief once the crop damage reports were received, and said that the Pocharam project had played a crucial role in protecting people from even greater devastation.
