Help TRS Bag 16 LS Seats To Take On Centre: KTR
In his last road shows, in Nalgonda, the TRS Working President again hard-sold his theory that Telangana would get more funds if it won 16 MP seats.

TRS working president K T Rama Rao today said that TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had the guts to take on the Centre and dictate terms if the people blessed the party with 16 MP seats.
Addressing a road show at Nalgonda, KTR criticized the two national parties - the BJP and the Congress - of repeatedly duping the people, and said that they would bite the dust this year.
"KCR will lead a federal front of regional parties, which will have their say at the Centre. It is time for the people to defeat the BJP and the Congress, and help the TRS replace the BJP-led NDA regime in the Centre," he asserted.
According to media reports and surveys the BJP and the Congress would both face drubbings in the polls, KTR said - while the BJP was expected to get some 150 Lok Sabha seats, the Congress would end up with some 100 seats, he claimed. Thus, neither of these two national parties would be able to form a government, and the regional parties which were enjoying public support would come to power, he predicted.
"In this scenario, since the TRS will be a part of the Federal Front, we will have enormous say at the Centre. And the greater the number of TRS MPs, the more our say. So vote for the TRS to help our State get more funds from the Centre and achieve our rightful demands," he exhorted the crowds.
