Been Insulted By The Party Leaders: Jagga Reddy

Congress MLA T Jagga Reddy today alleged that his own party leaders had insulted him during a public meeting in the Gajwel Assembly constituency.

He alleged that party leader and former minister Geetha Reddy did not give him an opportunity to speak at the meeting.

Hastening to add that he respected Geetha Reddy a lot, he however averred that he was clearly insulted at the meeting.

He claimed that he too could hold a public meeting with two lakh people, and that he had plenty of fans in the state.

The MLA made these remarks while talking media persons on the Assembly premises.

Speaking with visible angst, Reddy claimed that he was frequently facing insults despite being quite faithful to the party.

He added that he could have joined the ruling TRS if he wanted to, but still felt deeply attached to the Congress.
