TRS senior leader T Harish Rao today expressed pleasure at the elevation of K T Rama Rao as the party's new working president, and extended his support.
Talking to media persons here, Harish Rao said that he was happy that the party got KTR as the new working president, and said that KTR would get a better name in the party and steer it to new heights.
"KTR has to focus on strengthening the party, and I will extend my full support to him. We have worked together to bring the party to government, and will work in the future for the Panchayat polls and Lok Sabha polls, too. I wish KTR success in all his future endeavours,"? Rao said.
Harish Rao, who is considered as a rival power centre to KCR-KTR and who played a key role in the Assembly elections and the state government, said that the decision of the party chief (KCR) was final and that everyone had to abide by it.
"We are all working under leadership of TRS supreme leader K Chandrashekar Rao," Rao said.
KCR is planning to move to national politics and float a federal front against the Congress and the BJP at the Centre, and is reportedly grooming KTR to take over his Telangana role.
