Big Welcome Planned For KCR After Maharashtra Deal
On his return from Maharashtra after signing a historic water deal with Maharashtra, the Telangana CM will get a tumultuous welcome at the Begumpet airport.
On his return from Maharashtra after signing a historic deal on five irrigation projects with the Maharashtra government, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be accorded a tumultuous welcome at the Begumpet airport on March 8, Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said.
The minister said that a "Chaitanya Ratham" decked in the TRS' trademark pink flags and KCR's pictures was ready, and that the Chief Minister will be taken in it to his camp office in a procession.
A large number of artistes would participate in the program, he said.
Speaking to mediapersons after a visit to the Begumpet airport and inspecting the arrangements being made, Yadav said that he had reviewed the security arrangements with the police top-brass.
A large number of TRS leaders from districts including Karimnagar and Warangal will be joining the artistes to welcome the Chief Minister for his feat.
