Vaikuntha Ekadasi celebrations were held across Telangana today, with the most prominent ones being held at the Srisailam Bhramarambha Mallikarjuna temple.

The temple authorities opened the gates at 3 am in the morning, following which the "Suprabatha Seva" and the "Maha Mangalaharathi" were held to honour Sri Bhramarambhika Mallikarjuna Swamivaru.
Later, the utsava murthis were colourfully decorated by the pandits, and the devotees were given a special darshan of the deities through the North gate. The utsava murthis were then made to sit on the Ravana vahanam by the priests and brought out to greet the devotees.
After performing poojas amidst mangala vadyas, the pandits brought the deities out for the Gramotsavam which was performed through the streets of Srisailam.
Meanwhile, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam located at Gol Market in Delhi saw plenty of top people in attendance. Ace shuttler P V Sindhu along with her family members had a darshan of the deity, as did several IAS officers. Devotees in huge numbers in general thronged the temple to receive the blessings of the deity.
