BJP president Rajnath Singh condemned the Dilshuknagar blast and said that it was a failure of the Central government and its intelligence machinery.
Conveying his condolences to bereaved family members, Sigh said the government is the prime accused in the incident. The incident took place as there was no proper information from the Centre, he said, adding that the city has become the terrorists' main hub, and that intelligence failure is the main reason for the blast. The centre is not prepared to take up terrorism as a challenge, he said.
Speaking to reporters after visiting the hospitals where the injured were being treated, The BJP president said, "The condition of many of the injured is pathetic."
The Centre also came under fire in Parliament with the Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj and Venkaiah Naidu condemning the incident and holding the Centre responsible for the failure of the intelligence. (INN)
