2 ex-Chief Ministers of the state, namely Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy and Rosaiah, are reportedly eyeing the position of the Governor.
Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy had on Monday paid a visit to All India Congress (AIC) President Sonia Gandhi to
complain against the modus operandi of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. On emerging from his meeting with Sonia, Nedurumalli informed the media that he had impressed upon the AIC chief the need to take corrective measures as "AP is in a state of disarray".
Rosaiah is scheduled to meet Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday to discuss with her the political situation in the state. He reportedly received a call from 10 Janpath in response to the
letter he had addressed to the Congress High Command.
According to sources, political observers are trying to comprehend Rosaiah's sudden burst of interest in the state's politics. Rosaiah is known to otherwise avoid New Delhi like the plague, and he seldom visits the Congress office in the national capital unless he has to discuss an important issue with the High Command.
Regardless of the position that a politico is vying for (be it the post of the CM as in the case of Jaipal Reddy, or the Governor seat in the case of Nedurumalli, or both as in the case of Rosaiah according to media reports), it is the alleged inefficiency of Kiran Kumar Reddy that every one is focusing on, and it is KKR who will soon face the brunt of all the political activity in the state.
