Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan, who is on a two-day visit to the national capital, today said it was the media that was creating problems between two states.
There were no problems actually, but the media was spoiling the atmosphere, he opined, while interacting with mediapersons near on Saturday.
Summoned by the Centre, the Governor today reportedly met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Secretary L C Goel in Delhi and apprised them of the issues concerning the repatriation of the electricity employees and the bifurcations of the apex court and officials.
Narasimhan later said that the problem of the repatriation of electricity employees would be resolved soon. The issue of 1,200 electricity employees of AP, who were relieved by the Telangana government, is in the High Court, and the verdict is yet to come. The Governor is said to have informed the Centre about the two governments disowning this issue as the ball was in the court, and the employees being in jeopardy.
The Centre is likely to take a final call on the bifurcation of the High Court and officials' division after taking cognizance of Narasimhan's report.
