Government Pays Tributes To NTR On 100th Birth Anniversary
Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav paid tributes at NTR Ghat on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the late TDP chief and former AP CM.
On behalf of the Telangana government, Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav today paid tributes at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the late TDP chief and former Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh, and recollected his services to the people.
He said that the legendary film actor and former CM would remain in history forever.
To mark the occasion, the minister also unveiled the statues of NTR at Chitrapuri Colony, Mothi Nagar in Kukatpally and Vasantha Nagar Bus Stop in KPHB Colony in the city.
Speaking to the media, the minister said that NTR was the most successful Telugu person in both films and politics, and that his name would remain etched forever in the psyche of the Telugu people.
He said that the legendary film actor had earned the love and affection of crores of people from the different roles that he played in films, and that his contribution to the Telugu film industry was immense.
NTR had created history in politics too by becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh within nine months of founding the Telugu Desam Party, and had also made a mark in national politics and enhanced Telugu pride across the globe, Yadav said.
The minister added that the former CM gave political life to many people, especially those belonging to the backward sections, and that the legendary leader would remain in the hearts of many current political leaders forever.
