GHMC Receives 634 Tax Complaints

GHMC receives 634 complaints regarding the levying of property tax.

GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar announced that during Phase-II of the Property Tax Parishkaram (PTP), 634 grievances have been received from inhabitants in 18 circles.

This means that over 121 applications more have been received this time. As many as 513 complaints were received in 1st Phase.

Of these 634 complaints, as many as 378 complaints were received regarding Revision Petitions (RP).

Out of these, 75 RPs have been disposed.

102 representations for Tax Assessment has been received and 15 of these have been disposed. A total of 154 other complaints with regard to property tax were also received during the Phase-II programme held on Sunday. (INN)
