GHMC Employees To Start Hunger Strike

The employees are launching the relay hunger strike demanding a sanction of house sites.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Employees Union will begin a relay hunger strike at the GHMC headquarters at Tank Bund, from Thursday onwards.

According to Union President U Gopal, the employees are launching the hunger strike demanding a sanction of house sites, and the treatment of outsourced personnel as permanent employees of the GHMC.

The strike is being supported by all other unions. (INN)
