Female TCS Employee Killed By RTC Bus

A woman working with TCS was killed when an RTC bus hit her two-wheeler at Banjara Hills on Tuesday afternoon.

The lady was identified as a Sohini Saxena, on the basis of an ID card she was wearing.

Saxena was driving from Masab Tank onto Banjara Hills Road No 12 on a Honda Activa when she was hit by the Barkatpura depot bus.

She died on the spot.

The driver, who is reported to be one of the temporary RTC staffers, alleged that the brakes of the bus had failed.

Irate public however damaged the window panes of the bus, and later even thrashed the driver.

The police rushed to the spot and took the driver into custody. They also sent the body to Osmania Medical College for a post mortem.
