Exercise For Transfer Of Teachers Begins In Telangana

The present government has increased the teacher-student ratio, resulting the transfers of teachers being necessitated.
Hyderabad | 30th June 2024
The State government has launched its exercise for the transfer of teachers based on the number of students studying in each government school in Telangana.

The official process of the transfer of teachers will be taken up soon.

The previous government had issued GO No 17 on June 27, 2015, and GO No 25 on August 21, 2021. As per those orders, one teacher was appointed for a school with a strength of 0-19 students, two teachers for a school with 20-60 students, and three teachers for a school with 61-90 students.

However, the present State government has allotted one teacher for a school with a strength of 1-10 students, two for a school with 11-40 students and three for a school with 41-60 students.

Web options have been made available to fill all sanctioned teacher posts in schools where the student strength is above 60.

Teacher posts have not been allotted to the schools with zero students.
