Ex-Union Minister's Daughter Arrested At Hyderabad Airport

Kavuri Srivani, daughter of senior Congress leader and former union minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, has been detained by the Maharashtra police.

Kavuri Srivani, daughter of senior Congress leader and former union minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, has been detained by the Maharashtra police.

The police arrested Srivani at the Shamshabad international airport.

A cheating case had been registered against her in Maharashtra, and a Look Out Circular (LoC) had been issued by the Maharashtra police against her as part of that case.

Srivani arrived at the Shamshabad airport on Thursday night to go to Dubai. The airport officials immediately informed the Maharashtra police, who reached the airport and detained her.

The police will take Srivani to Maharashtra on a PT warrant after producing her in the Rajendranagar court.
