Giving a shot in the arm to the YSR Congress Party, prominent Congress leader and two-time MLA from East Godavari district Pamula Rajeswari joined the party on Saturday.

Accompanied by her followers, Rajeswari, who represented Nagaram and P Gannavaram Assembly constituencies in East Godavari distruct, visited the YSRCP headquarters at Lotus Pond and joined the party after meeting party supremo Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

Welcoming Rajeshwari into his party, Reddy exuded confidence that his party would be strengthened in East Godavari with the admission.
