The Central Bureau Of Investigation's probe into the Emaar Properties deal has progressed further, with the agency questioning various government officials and associate companies at its office on Monday.
According to sources, CBI sleuths questioned officials from Bank Of India, Revathi Finance, Meenakshi Infra, Kakinada Port and United Bank of India, following summons sent to them.
Sources say that the CBI questioned these firms with regard to their purchases of villas in the Emaar Boulder Hills Township.
Earlier, the CBI grilled Vijai Sai Reddy, the Vice-Chairman of Jagati Publications, for the 12th consecutive day.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court, on Monday, adjourned the hearing on the petition filed by Sandur Power Project of YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to 16 September. The Apex Court said that it would take up the petition along with the cases on Jagathi Publications and Emaar Properties on 16 September. (INN)
