Vijaya Raghavan, the former CEO of Emaar Township & Hills, on Tuesday, filed a petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, seeking directions to the CBI to remove his name from the list of accused in the Emaar Properties case.
Filing the petition in the court, Vijaya Raghavan's counsel stated that the CBI has not leveled any charges against his client in connection with the case, and hence, that his name must be removed from the list of accused iin the case.
Meanwhile, in the disproportionate assets case of Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy, the CBI Special Court extended the judicial remand of Jagati Publications vice-chairman and financial auditor Vijay Sai Reddy till 21 February. (INN)
