The CBI Special Court on Thursday extended to 12 January the judicial remand of Koneru Rajendra Prasad, the key accused in the Emaar-APIIC case.
The court examined the case through a video conference with Koneru Prasad, who was in Chanchalguda jail.
Prasad complained to the judge that the CBI has been harassing his family members in the name of enquiries, and targeting his business.
Prasad, who was lodged in a special room in the Chanchalguda Central Prison, was presented before the Special CBI Court magistrate, through video linkage.
The CBI counsel requested that the accused be kept in judicial custody, claiming that the investigation was in a crucial stage. (INN)
