Shivali Johri Srivastava of GITAM University (Hyderabad) and her family jointly set their 11th Guinness world record, for a display of 9,200 origami fish.
A B. Tech. fourth year CSE student Shivali Johri Srivastava of GITAM University (Hyderabad), and her mother Kavita Johri Srivastava and father Anil Srivastava, jointly set their 11th Guinness world record, for a display of 9,200 origami fish.
The record has just been confirmed after validation and submission of a corroborating video.
This is also considered a record for the highest number of Guinness records held by one family.
Shivali's family thanked GITAM Hyderabad Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof N Siva Prasad, Dr Mallikarjun and other GITAM staff for the support and encouragement that they provided.
The family had previously set Guinness world records for displays of thousands of handmade paper dolls, quilled flowers, origami whales, origami penguins, origami citrus fruits etc.
Shivali also secured fifteen Assist World Records, and one Unique World Record.
