Girls out-performed boys in the Engineering Common Entrance Test 2012, whose results were released on Saturday.
The ECET 2012 was conducted on 26 May, by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.
Releasing the results, ECET Convenor Prof. G Tulasi Ramdas said that out of 32,937 candidates who registered for the test, 29,391 candidates qualified in the ECET, taking a total pass percentage to 89.23.
Of 29,391 who appeared for the test, 22,614 boys and 6,777 girls cleared the test.
