The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) will be held on May 22, and the results will be announced on June 2.
According to EAMCET co-convener K Eshwar Prasad, elaborate arrangements are being made for the smooth conduct of the test.
The candidates can download the hall tickets online from May 8.
Compared to last year, there had been an increase of about 8,000 applications for the medical stream, Prasad said. However, the applications for the engineering stream had dropped by nearly 10,000.
Prasad asked the candidates to reach the examination centres well in advance. He said that even a 1-minute delay would not be allowed.
He also said that adequate arrangements were being made to stop malpractices. (INN)
