The President of India has asked Narasimhan to discharge the functions of the Governor of Telangana until a permanent arrangement is made.

The Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan has been given additional charge as the Governor of Telangana.

The President of India Pranab Mukherjee has asked Narasimhan to discharge the functions of the Governor of Telangana in addition to his own duties, until a permanent arrangement is made.

The appointment will take effect from the date he assumes charge of his office. (INN)
