Even as the Opposition stormed the podium of the Speaker in Parliament over the demonetization of high value notes by the Centre, the TRS on Thursday took a rather soft stance to abstain from creating a ruckus in House.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is learnt to have called up the Party MPs and asked them not to storm the podium as creating pandemonium was unnecessary.
"Instead we will take up the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the impact of the decision," the MPs were told. KCR also directed his MPs to maintain decency and decorum in House and follow a strategy to exert pressure on the Centre otherwise.
"Our aim is to protect the State interests and serve the people, and not to create a ruckus," KCR said.
