Don't Want To Be An Elder Of The Industry: Chiranjeevi
The comments by the star have created a ripple in the Telugu film industry, as they were made after the controversies witnessed during the recent MAA elections.
Telugu film actor Chiranjeevi today said that he did not want to act as an elder of the Telugu film industry.
He however hastened to state that he would serve the industry like a son.
He made these remarks while addressing a gathering at an event held to distribute health cards to film industry workers.
The workers said that they would always turn to him whenever they faced any problems, and urged him to act as the elder of the industry.
However, the star politely refused their request, and said that he would never want such an honour.
He said that he would however take up any responsibility as a responsible son of the industry, and added that he would never come forward for anything which was not necessary.
He also said that he would never try to resolve disputes between any two different unions of the industry.
