Nalgonda Congress MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy warned Tadipatri MLA J C Diwakar Reddy not to issue statements affecting the sentiments of Telangana people.
Talking to reporters at CLP Media Point, he took serious exception on the statement of Diwakar Reddy for speaking "ridiculously" on the demand for a separate Pradesh Congress Committee for Telangana people.
"The demand for a separate PCC is not new," Sukhender stated.
Sukhender asked Diwakar Reddy to set up a special AICC office instead of a PCC in his place, but warned him not to issue statements hurting the sentiments of Telangana people.
The MP said the Seemandra leaders have forgotten the alliance of Telangana Rashtra Samiti with the Congress during former chief minister YSR's stint and are making serious comments hurting the sentiments of Telangana people.
Sukhender urged the government to do justice to the agitating Telangana lawyers and implement a 42% quota in the recruitments of Judiciary.
Refuting the statements of Information and Public Relations Minister J Geetha Reddy for favouring Seemandra leaders over lawyers' agitation, he asked the minister to solve the problem by speaking to the Chief Minister.
The MP said that the party will observe Telangana Liberation Day at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday.
