Domestic Harassment Victim Dies

Mamatha, a TV9 employee, died last evening under dubious circumstances, after her husband rushed her to a hospital claiming that she had tried to commit suicide by ingesting acid.

Mamatha had reportedly been a victim of mental and physical harrassment by her husband Kiran, to whom she got married in 2009, with Kiran haranguing her for more dowry, their lack of children and just about everything.

Last evening, Kiran rusghed Mamatha to a nearby hospital after she ingested acid. However, she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Mamatha's parents allege that Kiran murdered her by forcing her to drink the acid, and have filed a case on him.
