Blast Suspect Commits Suicide
Terror suspect Abdul Razak, alleged to be behind the 2002 Dilsukhnagar Sai Baba temple blast, commits suicide at his Mehdipatnam residence.

Abdul Razak alias Masood, who is an alleged Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) worker, committed suicide in his Mehdipatnam house on Wednesday.
Abdul Razak, 40, a native of Malapally, Nizamabad district, was an accused in the 2002 Dilsukhnagar Sai Baba Temple blast case, which had killed 2 and injured 15 citizens. Razak was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a nylon rope, at his single-bedroom house at Humayun Nagar, when a tenant complained to the owner about a foul smell emanating from Razak's room.
Razak was also accused of of terror attcks in the American cultural centre in Kolkata in 2002, and in Gatkopar, Mumbai, in 2003.
Razak was then arrested by the CID in Delhi in 2005, and was released in bail in 2007. Since then, Razak was staying in his home at Humayun Nagar, Mehdipatnam.
The police who reached the spot found a suicide note in which Razak had stated that police harassment was the reason behind him taking this extreme step.
The victim's body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for a post-mortem, and a case of suspicious death was booked.
