Devotee Donates Rs 1 Crore To Tirumala Temple

A follower of Visakhapatnam Sarada Peetham pontiff Swaroopanandendra Swamy donated Rs 1 crore to the famous Tirumala shrine on Saturday.

A follower of Visakhapatnam Sarada Peetham pontiff Swaroopanandendra Swamy donated Rs 1 crore to the famous Tirumala shrine on Saturday.

The devotee, who wished to remain anonymous, requested that the amount be used for the Sri Venkateswara Nitya Annadanam Trust.

The trust gives free food to about 1 lakh visitors every day.

The devotee presented a cheque for the amount to the pontiff in front of the Srivari temple yesterday morning. The pontiff in turn handed over the cheque to the TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal and Additional EO A V Dharma Reddy.
