Hyderabad, one of India's most sought-after technology and innovation hubs, is set to host another major Global Capability Centre (GCC).
German company Deutsche Borse will soon launch its GCC in Hyderabad. This was conveyed to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy by a company delegation during a meeting on November 3.
A team led by German Consul General Michael Hasper briefed the Chief Minister about the new facility which is part of Deutsche Borse's expansion plans.
The GCC is expected to create at least 1,000 jobs in the IT sector over the next two years.
Thanking the German company for choosing Hyderabad, Reddy said that the city was the best destination for investments, and assured full government support to global investors.
He also urged German firms to invest in the IT, pharmaceutical and automobile sectors, and said that Telangana was committed to strengthening ties with Germany.
The CM also requested the German team to support initiatives that promoted Hyderabad as an innovation hub. He also sought assistance in appointing German language teachers and providing vocational and skill development training through TOMCOM.
