Health & Medical Minister C Laxma Reddy expressed his grief at the death of a 10-year-old who succumbed to Swine Flu on Saturday night, and stressed the need to inculcate more awareness among the people about the H1N1 virus.
Reddy urged people to approach doctors immediately if they recognized symptoms of the disease, instead of panicking later.
Stating that government hospitals in the State have already made all necessary arrangements for treating Swine Flu patients, the Minister said that the number of Swine Flu cases in the State is far lower than three years ago.
The Health Minister disclosed that Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali tested positive for H1N1 turned positive and was admitted to the NIMS hospital. The Deputy CM was recovering, he added.
