DCA Seizes ITROZEN-100 Capsules In Mancherial

The price of the capsule violated the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013.

Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) officials today seized ITROZEN-100 capsules (100 mg Itraconazole capsules) at a medical shop in Mancherial in a raid.

The product is subject to price control under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 - the price of the product must adhere to the ceiling price fixed by the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA).

However, the capsules, manufactured by Allcure Remedies LLP for Healthkey Life Sciences Pvt Ltd, bear an MRP of Rs 245 for 10 capsules on the label, which violates the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013.
