Damodar Rajanarasimha Makes Remarks Against His Own Party

Senior Congress leader and former deputy chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Damodar Rajanarasimha today made critical remarks against his own party.

Referring to the constitution of various State-level committees of the party, which has turned quite contentious, he said that the developments that had taken place in the party were painful.

He alleged that those who had joined the party three months back had been given crucial posts in the committees while those who had been working hard in the party for years were not getting recognition.

He also claimed that unfortunate things had started happening in the party after the constitution of the party committees.?

He said that covert politics had begun in the party eight years back, and that he had handed over evidence to the party high command of the covert leaders' activities.?He also urged the party high command to review the committees formed by it.

He also asserted that there was no truth in the news reports that he would leave the party, and said that he was born in the Congress and would die in it.
