The Congress will move a privilege motion against CPI state secretary K Narayana and Telugu Desam Party's Legislative Council floor leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, for their remarks against Congress MLAs and MPs.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office on Friday, AICC secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy alleged that the CPI state secretary had used unparliamentary remarks against Congress MLAs and MPs.
He also condemned that silence of CPI's national secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy over the unparliamentary remarks used against MPs and MLAs by his state leader.
Similarly, TDP leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao had reportedly remarked that chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy should be hanged instead of Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab. Condemning the remarks, Sudhakar Reddy said that although Chandrababu Naidu claims that the TDP is a disciplined party, he did not react to the harsh and unparliamentary remarks made by his party's floor leader.
Ponguleti said that the Congress would move a privilege motion against the leaders for their remarks, and that the party would also explore other legal options against them. (INN)
