D Srinivas Slams Reports Of Defecting To Congress

TRS Rajya Sabha Member D Srinivas expressed grief and displeasure at some media reports that he would be switching back to the Congress from the TRS.
Hyderabad | 11th August 2017
TRS Rajya Sabha Member D Srinivas today expressed grief and displeasure at some media reports that he would be switching back to the Congress from the ruling TRS.

Talking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan today, Srinivas, who is known for straight talk, condemned the reports as baseless and mischievous.

"I will not quit the TRS under any circumstances. Some newspapers and television channels are indulging in writing and telecasting wrong and baseless reports, and trying to malign my image. In the name of news, media persons should not belittle the values of journalism. There is a need to take serious action against such baseless media reports and managements," he said.

"It seems that some mediapersons are bent upon degrading the leaders of the ruling party. Despite giving umpteen clarifications on this, some vested interests are continuing to spread rumours on me," he charged.
